How Midget can a laptop get and still have an internal cd drive?
I'm browsing for a portable laptop but I don't want to have to by a external cd/dvd drive because a lot of the mini models can't fit one in them. So how Midget can a laptop get and still have a internal cd/dvd drive?

- About 13" is the Midgetest you can get that will still have an optical drive.
- Mercuri is right. I have an Acer Extensa 4420 with a 14.1 inch screen. Its pretty Midget, but it has a laptop drive. It is a huge upgrade from my Dell Lattitude D410. That laptop was TINY, but its drive was external only and it was never around when I needed it.
- Hp has 2, 12.1" notebooks for sale. One of them actually has a touch screen but they are twice the cost of a mini and much more powerful. You can purchase an external DVD burner (i know that a DVD burner is extreme) for around $100. But it really comes down to what you are going to use your mini for. A mini is really only a blackberry on steroids. Great for internet surfing and Midget applications on the go, but forget trying to run a Midget business with it or games. Final thought. if a mini is what u need. You can purchase a 16gig flash drive for around $40 and that's about the storage capacity of 3 DVD"s. Not only can you can store the recovery partition of the mini's hard drive on a flash drive, they are also an extremely portable way exchange and store data.
