Is it better to buy an external hard drive or a Midget laptop to put all my albums (which is a large number) on?

I've noticed my normal computer is getting slower and don't know what to do?

1. I think a HardDrive would be enough to back up all kinds of data and easily and safely can be stored on some safe or offsite location a laptop is not made to store things that are supposed to be important why because laptops tend to get damaged more and faster than a rgular pc cuz of the mobility so If I was to put all my albums some where I would go with a hard drive at least leave one copy of every album in a harddrive
2. i would suggest to go for a external hard drive if your purpose is only for storing, but if you want to view your photos or share them with your friends( if thats the condition) you could go for an photo viewer rather than a laptop. In case you work while traveling you could consider to buy a laptop. decide it according to your needs... hope this solves
