How can I market my services to Midget computer consulting companies?

Hi All, I am a network engineer and would like to market my services to Midget computer consulting companies. I was thinking of mailing flyers, sending targeted emails, or attending trade shows. Which techniques work best? Thanks, Nick Thanks for the business card idea. Should I go pounding on doors or give them out at trade shows?

  1. You will achieve the best results for a modest investment by having some business cards professionally designed and printed and then getting out there to meet the owners of the companies.
  2. Register your details with all directories and classified ads websites such as http://www.poundad.co.uk
  3. I'm not exactly sure, ha ha, but if you want to market your services, a good idea is to post them on a free classified ads website. http://www.stumblehere.com is a great site for this. Their direct link to the 'services' section is http://stumblehere.com/search/subject-services/search_where-city/.
  4. You may want to work with a commercial printing facility that offers low cost printing, and maybe can offer you targeted mailing lists. My company has had 4x6 postcard/fliers done at Reduced Printing, and we got a targeted mailing list from them from certain types of businesses first citywide, statewide, then nationwide (we broke up the mailings). It worked really well and it didn't require a tremendous investment. If you want to try and call them, you can speak with a guy named Max (718-477-7468)
