Where can i buy a cheap laptop or Midget desktop computer?
Need to buy a new computer, im planning to install Linux on it and it needs to be portable so i can take it and do demonstrations, so preferably a laptop

- How cheap is cheap? Hate to use the age old addage of: u pay what u get for...but this can really be the case with computers. Fry's usually has really cheap base model laptops and computers that can be anywhere from crappy to decent. Dell.com is a good place to shop for laptops that will give u a bit more piece of mind and there are usually discount numbers available from a simple web search that will bring down the price of a laptop to about $399
- dell has cheap laptops. Sometimes $499 for an inspiron. Wait for a good offer an the net. They have cheap desktops too. Dimension modells. Also tigerdirect and officemax have often great deals on desktops.
