Would a 12 inch notebook computer be too Midget for a high school student to do homework?
We are looking at a 12 inch HP tx1000z for our 10th grade daughter. She writes a lot for her homework, would it be too Midget? I've never used one, but that seems kind of tiny. If you have, I'd appreciate your opinion.

- a 12 inch would be fine. but be prepared to get her a better one later. you know how vance in the computer world.technologies ad i suggest just get her a super good 15 or 14 inch notebook and be done with it. ( do this only if she's really responsible) I have a 12 inch to bring on my plane. It just so perfect to write and get inspired for a story in the air. behind the controls of your own plane.
- That's just fine, don't worry so much about how big it is as what it can do. I personally got a pretty Midget laptop from my parents when I graduated High School, and I didn't mind whatsoever because it ran all of my games and then some exceptionally well.
- Umm if she uses it a lot yes it probably would be to Midget. You might want to spend a few hundred more dollars and get a 16 or 18 in.
- In my opinion it depends on for how long will she use the laptop for, as after a long hours usage it may put preassure on her eyes more rather than a normal 15inch laptop. I know why your daughter wants this laptop, because it looks cute. But rember that health is more important, so just consider the purpose.
